Tabbie and her twin sister, Tabby did quite well in the show ring.  We lost Tabby shortly after a very difficult kidding.  Tabbie is solid black and after all these years, we are so glad to have  does out of our "old" Tabby.  It was a big disappointmen to loose Tabby.  Her doe kid born in June will remain with Jean and Harold Miller.  Tabbie is a heavy milker and shows well too.  In 2007, Tabbie was serviced to Indiana NS Tumult Tumal and had twin does on April 15, 2008.  The Hudsons sold one kid to Claire Smith and retained the other one.

Tondolee is another black doe with white on her side and topknot.  Her dam, now at the Ryal's is Tondoleea.  Tondolee milked well and has shown well also.  In 2007 she was serviced AI, to Rockspring DM Vermil Vincent and on April 2, had a buck and doe kid.  Tondolee and kids were sold to Chris and Amberlee Hudson and Family.

Taberjane's dam was sold to Bill Ryal and we decided to retain this doe.  Bill has both her dam and her sire.  Taberjean, her dam is listed below on this  page.  She was such an outstanding doe that one of our friends saw her and reconized her as she was in tran-sit to Mississippi, she called and wondered why Jean Miller's does were in Tennessee??  What a small world this is!!!  Bill told her the does were in trans-port.  Taberjane is light brown with cream trim.  Taberjane and her  full sister, Taberjone are now  listed on this page because they have been sold to Chris and Amberlee Hudson & Family.  Taberjane freshen in 2008 with buck kids.  Taberjane is milking very well and did very well in the show ring in 2008.

As I stated, this is the full sister to the doe, Taberjane, listed above.  Her dam, Taberjean is listed on this  page, as well as her dam Taberae and her dam Tabitha. Taberjone is black with tan trim and we think she is a real beauty.   She has a dry leg toward her Championship and one milking leg. Taberjone freshened in April with one doe and one buck kid.  Taberjone looks great this year and is milking very good.

This doe is out of Taberae, a doe we finished her Championship in 2006.  Taberae was sold to Bill Ryal in Mississippi, along with Taberlin's sire, Tumble. Taberae is a cream doe,  and  a real beauty, she is listed on the  [LaMancha Doe Ref.page.  She is a good milker and has great conformation also,  if I were to fault her, she is a little small at this time.   Taberlin is chocolate and we hope she will develope more, and turn out like all her ancestors .  Taberlin freshened in April 2008 with one doe and one buck.

We lost Tabitha in 2004 after a very hard time kidding. Tabitha has been a great influence in our LaMancha herd. This picture of Tabitha was taken at the National Show when she won first place two year old in a very large class. Tabitha still looked very nice at nine years old. Her mammary was just as sound as when she was a young doe. She had won Best of Breed, Best Udder of Breed and Best Doe of Show at the Indiana State Fair. She had also won Best of Breed and Best Doe Of Show in many other shows. Even more important she was able to pass her traits on to her off-spring. The sad part is, she had far more buck kids, than she had doe kids. Tabitha milked very well too. We had retained two of her milking daughters, Tabby and Taberae along with two of her bucks. We also had  two of her grand daughters, Taberjean and Taberjoan that are very  nice.  We recently sold most of our herd of LaMancha's to the Bill Ryals Family, so Taberae, Taberjean and Taberjoan are residing with the Ryals Family in Mississippi.  Tabitha's, Grandam was Rosebud. [LaMancha Doe Ref.] Rosebud was 1997 & 1998 ADGA Reserve National Champion. 1996 & 1998 ADGA National Best Udder, 1997 ADGA National Reserve Best Udder, 1996 AGS National BOB & Best Udder and 1996 Supreme All American. Rosebud was three times Top 10 in milk, butterfat and protein.

Tabby is an age daughter of our foundation doe Tabitha, (see information above on Tabitha) and is a beautiful doe.  In the past, Tabby won Best Udder of All Breeds at the NAILE show in Kentucky.  In this photo she   was  Grand Champion LaMancha doe, when our Grandson, Adam showed her at the Indiana State 4-H Fair. The following year her teat at the top became closed and can not be opened; therefore, we can never show her again.  She is still a beauty to us,  we now use her as a brood doe, for that reason we did not let her go to the Ryals, she will reside here in the Indiana Noon Shine herd.  Tabby's sires sire, goes back to the famous ++B Antares M. Voyager. [LaMancha Buck Ref.]  Tabby like her dam, Tabitha usually has bucks. In the past, Tabby had one beautiful milking daughter in our herd, named Tipper. [LaMancha Doe Ref.] Tipper was ill in 2004 and was dried up soon after the Indiana State Fair. She passed away in early 2005. Tabby was serviced to Ra [LaMancha Bucks] and had two black does and one black buck.  All three animals remain in our herd.  Tabby was again serviced to Ra in 2006 and had a single (dead) doe kid, on February 1, 2007.  Tabby had a terrible time kidding, the kids head was turned backwards and it was dead, making it a very hard delivery.  Tabby is now deceased.

Tameka is cream in color and a nice age doe, always producing better offspring than she is herself.  We have used several of her bucks from  previous breedings for our Herd Sires. Again her sire, Dan De Lyon [LaMancha Buck Ref.] speaks for himself as does Rosebud, [LaMancha Doe Ref.] Rosebud was 1997 & 1998 ADGA Reserve National Champion. 1996 & 1998 ADGA National Best Udder, 1997 ADGA National Reserve Best Udder, 1996 AGS National BOB & Best Udder and 1996 Supreme All American. She had been three time Top ten in milk, butterfat and protein. Tameka goes back to ++Antares Voyager.  I want to thank Tim Vanzant and Kelcie Smith for taking this picture of Tameka at the 2005 Indiana State Fair. Tameka was serviced by AI to One*Oak*Hill Medicine Tumult.  On April 3, 2006 she had a very large doe and buck.  We  retained the buck in our herd.  We had bad luck with the doe kid and lost her.  I want to thank Karen Senn for letting us purchase Tumult's semen.   Tameka has been sold to the Bill Ryals Family.

Taberae is a beautifu doe who became a Pernmanent Champion in 2006.  Taberae not only milks and shows well, she produces very nice off-spring.  Two of her milking does are Taberjean and Taberjoan listed below on this page.  Her dam Tabitha was also a Champion and her information is listed on the home page as our foundation doe.  We used Artificial Insemation to get Taberae.  Ann Weiklel had Snap-Dragon's semen for sale and we thought it would be a good mix to use on Tabitha, and it sure was.   Snag Dragon was a maternal brother to the 1998 National Champion, GCH Rockspring Vin Daffy Dandelion 4M, 05-03 92 (EEEE). His dam, GCH Rockspring Dem Diana Daffodil 3*M was EX 91 at five years.  His grandam GCH Rockspring Value Dixie Diana 2*M, was EX 90 at nine years, and his great grandam was EX 92 at seven years.  This was a long lived very structurally correct bloodline.  Snap-Dragons twin sister is a GCH and milked 3000 pounds of milk on her second lacatation.  Taberae took after her ancesters on both sides and shows well, as well as  milks very good.  Taberae and two of her daughters, Taberjoan and Taberjean were sold to the Bill Ryals Family in Mississippi.

Inez is black with tan trim, she is a long, large, well built age doe with a very nice udder and is one of my favorite does.  Her sire is Dan De Lyon [LaMancha Buck Ref.] which speaks for himself.  We purchased Dan from Marsha Gustafson.  We decided to part with him, after having him collected. We will continue to use his semen through AI.  You will find Dan's semen for sale on the [LaMancha Semen Sales] page, since we have had Dan collected and have quite a bit of his semen, we have it priced very reasonable.  The first year we used Dan, he produced six very nice milking does. Inez’s grand sire is GCH ++*B Clovertop’s Manjo.  Inez has a milking daughter named Icon, listed below on this page.  Icon now resides at  Bill Ryals.   I want to thank Tim Vanzant and Kelcie Smith for taking this picture of Inez at the 2005 Indiana State Fair.

Icon has been slow to mature, but she has a beautiful udder. She is black with tan trim. She is sired by Phoenix  [LaMancha Buck Ref.] the first buck we purchased from Don and Judi Hoy. He is out of GCH Lucky*Star’s L Dandy. Dandy is a third generation of appraising 90 or better and a GCH doe. She has milked over 3,000# with over 100# of fat and she appraised 90.  Dandy is an outstanding doe. The sire of Phoenix is Monet [LaMancha Buck Ref.] who has also produced lots of nice does.   Icon was service to Tad and had two beautiful doe kids in 2006.  Icon, along with her off-spring, Ipod, Ice. Icondae and Iconnie were sold to the Bill Ryals family.  Icon was a very heavy milking doe, so we are hoping her and her does will help Bill with his dairy. Icon is the daughter of Inez who is pictured above.

Taberjoan is another white doe.  As most of you know we are not fond of white or cream , but she is a very nice doe regardless of color. We think that her dam is one of the best LaManchas we have ever raised. She appears to be following in the footsteps of her dam, having a beautiful high tight udder.  Her sire comes from an exceptional dam. Taberjoan and Taberjean (below) are full sisters, but definelty different colors. Taberjoan and Taberjean were both sold to the Ryals Family.  Taberjoan had bucks in 2005 and in 2006 had a white doe, who was also sold to the Ryals family.  We want to thank Tim Vanzant and Kelcie Smith for taking these pictures of Taberjoan at the 2005 Indiana State Fair.

We think Tameek took after her dam, Tameka.   In color she is a very light brown doe and is quite growthy, maybe that is why she milks so heavy.  Her dam is a large well balanced LaMancha doe, and with a sire like Ra how can she go wrong.  Tameek and her daughter, Tameko were also sold to the Bill Ryals family.

She won Best Doe of the Junior Doe Show at the 2002 Indiana State Fair with 399 Junior Does showing. She was also Junior Champion doe at the NAILE show held in Kentucky in 2002. She developed into a beautiful milking doe, but due to my having open heart surgery, we did not get to show her in 2003.  In 2004 Rollick finished her Championship and also was Best Udder of all Breeds at the NAILE Show held in Louisville, KY.  Her sire Kareem, [LaMancha Buck Ref.] now deceased is known to produce consistently better mammaries than their dams.  Fanciful, [LaMancha Doe Ref.] her dam also now deceased, is a favorite of mine from the Hoy herd. Relatives of Rollick can be viewed @ http://www.luckystarfarm.com . His name is Ra and he can be seen on the [LaMancha Bucks] page.  Other relatives of Ebony and her offspring can be seen @ http://www.luckystarfarm.com where Ebony lived until she passed on.
