We received this picture for Christmas in 2005 from Claire Smith. We had sold our entire herd of Nubians to Rob & Mary Ann Smith & Family. Claire decided she needed a LaMancha from our herd. This is Claire and Too Too. Too Too grew the antlers after she left our place!!!! I'll bet Santa brought both of these beauties a gift.

I want to thank Kelsie Smith for taking the picture and helping me with the care of the dairy goats during the week.

This picture was taken at the National Show held in 1998 when Tabitha won first place two year old milker out of a very large class. (60 plus two year old milking does) Tabitha died in 2004 after a very difficult time kidding. She has made a great contribution to our herd through her sons and daughters.

LaMancha Brag Time and Information!
| I was ill during the 2006 Indiana State Fair and could not show my dairy goats. In the fall of 2006 we sold most of our LaManchas to the Bill Ryals Family. We have kept enough does, so as to have milk to raise our puppies and if our health prevails, we may show a few. We would like to take this space to announce a few of our winnings at the 2005 Indiana Open State Fair Senior Show and thank Rob & Mary Ann Smith & Family for loading our animals and helping us to be able to show at the Indiana State Fair. One of our does received Res. Grand Champion LaMancha Doe and 1st. place Udder in the two year old class. Three different does won 1st., 2nd. and 3rd. in the two year old milking class. Another three year old received Best Udder of LaManchas in the three to five year old class, going on to receive Best Udder of the entire show with 367 senior does exhibited. Our does won 1st and 2nd place Dairy Herd, along with 1st place Get of Sire. Also 1st. place Mother & Daughter. We were awarded Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor of the LaMancha breed. Our Junior does also placed well. Without the Smiths,Teena Spear, Tim Vanzant and all our other friends, we would not have been able to show at the 2005 fair, you all know who you are, a big thank you to all, we really appreciate all your help. | ||||||||||||||||||||
