LaMancha  Semen  Sales

The following is the pedigrees of the LaMancha bucks semen we have for sale.  Shipping arrangements and cost of shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer.  It may be possible to have free delivery to the 2010 National Show in Louisville, Kentucky.  Semen must be paid for when purchased, and must be picked up from our tank by December 2010 unless other arrangements have been made.  We will accept money orders or checks. Dan De Lyon is line bred on his dam side,GCH 2*M Allroc-Farms Smoky Rosebud. [LaMancha Doe Ref] His pedigree is strong in milk, show, and correctness. Rosebud’s record includes 1997 & 1998 ADGA Reserve National Champion, 1996 & 1998 ADGA National Best Udder, 1997 ADGA National Reserve Best Udder, 1996 AGS National BOB & Best Udder and 1996 Supreme All-American. For correctness, she appraised 5-05 92 (VEEE). Her production record includes 4-11 305 3761 173 4.6% and three times top ten in milk, butterfat and protein. Dan has produced six very nice daughters in our herd. We collected him and sold him to Cindi McDonald. We plan to use Dan De Lion, by the way of AI this fall.  We decided to sell some of his semen, because we will never use all that we have collected.

We called this buck ”our” Voyager, but most of you can remember Antares M. Voyager. He was pictured on the Dairy Goat Journal in June of 1987. At that time Jim and Joan Vandergriff was the owners of him and he had just died. He has been ADGA National Premier Sire and sired the first place Sr. Get in 86, 87, 88 and 89. Several years ago he had 11 GCH or CH daughters, including CH Haute Caprine Wendy, 89 National GCH;CH Haute Caprine Muscat, 88 National RGCH; Haute Caprine Miss T, 87 first place yearling. He has produced a number of great does and sons. One of his sons, a litter mate to Wendy was named, *B Haute Caprine Doctor A. Indiana Noon Shine Voyager is now deceased, but he gave us beautiful daughters before he died. We plan to use him by AI next breeding season.  We have collected an ample supply of semen from him so we have decided to share it with other LaMancha breeders at a very reasonable price.

I know very little about this buck. I believe his sire, *B Coastside Sea Hawk was purchased at a Spotlite Sale. I purchased Sea Magic from Frank Hatcher and Frank had some very nice animals out of Sea Hawk. I did not use Sea Magic very much, because at the time I owned him I had very few LaManchas. I collected him and have an ample supply of his semen I can share with others.  This is the reason his semen is priced very low. Hope this bloodline will work well with yours.

I purchased this buck from John & Paulette Brown of Udder Way. I believe that Phil Ferret had found the Sire of this buck for the Browns. Phil knew that Hi-Lo Farm’s Super Snoop, had produced several nice animals. The Browns LaMancha herd placed well at National Shows and many other shows. Their LaManchas were beautiful. John & Paulette later sold their LaMancha herd to Patti Dean. At the time I purchased this buck from the Browns, I had very few LaManchas, I only used him one season and did not have room to keep him. I had him collected and then loaned him to some friends, he died at their home. When I did use him, we received buck kids. I collected this buck, so I have an ample supply of his semen,  that is why I have the price for this semen so low.
